TwitrPix Express for Safari

The folks here at TwitrPix HQ are happy to announce the release of TwitrPix Express for Safari.  This free browser extension enables Safari users to share any photo from any web site directly to Twitter with one click.  We’re super excited to bring this feature to Safari users.  Previously we’ve launched extensions for the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers which have been well received.

Also, we’re happy to announce that our extension has been included into the official Apple Safari Extensions Gallery.  Just visit https://extensions.apple.com/ and click on Twitter Tools in the left column.

Continuing in our effort to make social media sharing as simple as possible — if you use the Safari web browser,  TwitrPix Express for Safari is an free essential tool to have.

TwitrPix in “Best of Desktop File & Image Sharing Tools”

The good folks over at Hongkiat.com just compiled and published their “Best of Desktop File and Image Sharing Tools” and TwitrPix Express for Firefox was mentioned in the Firefox add-on section.  Very cool to be included on their list as they are a highly respected destination in the design/dev community and we’re all really big fans here at TwitrPix HQ.  So it was quite surprisingly to see it flow into our RSS readers.

“Um, did we just get mentioned on Hongkiat?”  After reloading the page a 2nd time to be sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me, “(expletives intentionally removed) Yeah!”

Please head over and read the full article at Hongkiat.com.  Many thanks for the nod.

Want the browser add on?  TwitrPix Express for Firefox.  For Google Chrome users, we have you covered as well with TwitrPix Express for Chrome.  A little birdie in Cupertino says there’s something for Safari users coming soon as well pretty soon.

TwitrPix Express for Firefox — Goes Public

Just got word from the good folks at Mozilla that the TwitrPix Express for Firefox addon has finally hit “public” status. When the addon was submitted to Mozilla, it had to go through a review process which are done by volunteers who have donated their time (ed note: if you have Firefox or JS development skills, please consider volunteering). After a few weeks and some bug tweaks, the addon became officially “public.” No longer will users see “Experimental” — the scarlet letter has been removed.

What makes this really important is that there are no other photo sharing sites for Twitter except TwitrPix with their own Firefox browser addon. Not only does this show our commitment to really letting users share media the way THEY want to, but it also shows our commitment to looking at Firefox as a platform for growth.

Give TwitrPix Express for Firefox a try. We’d love to hear your feedback.
